The art was perfect, the story was interesting, and even the characters were interesting. What makes Ito´s artwork so scary is the horror of the unknown and the unthinkable. It showcases his strengths in art and storytelling. I began reading it with no real expectations. The term uzumaki means spiral, and the reputation it has taken on of being one of the scariest mangas worldwide for good reason. I will not be going into complete detail on the story, or the characters, but will review points in a more general sense.
